Banana Dog

2008 - 2022

Banana Dog was my best friend for 14 years. She was a 'Dudley' lab with a pink nose. This is considered a defect of the breed, so the breeder took her to a kill shelter. I saw her online when she was two days from being put to sleep. I drove 150 miles to rescue her and we never looked back. We travelled Europe and lived in the UK, she was a gym dog when I owned a gym for a while. She won a couple 5ks with me. She loved tennis balls and could throw them back to you with amazing accuracy. She never met a treat she did not love. If I was ever sad, she'd comfort me. She'd groan if we were up past 9PM. She passed on 12/27 and she will be very missed.
