Bentley

2007 - 2023

Bentley WINSTON WAS MY SOULMATE, MY BEST FRIEND SINCE I WAS 19. THE DAY HE DIED, I WAS 36. I was BEYOND blessed to have him for 16 and a half years. from the moment I met him, I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT HIM. WHEN HE WOULD GET REALLY EXCITED, HE WOULD SHOW HIS TEETH AND IT WOULD ALWAYS ALARM PEOPLE UNTIL THEY REALIZED HE WAS JUST REALLY HAPPY. HE LOVED SWIMMING, TRAVELING, GOING ON BIKE RIDES IN THE BASKET, AND CHEWING ON WATER BOTTLES. HE HAD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HONEY BROWN EYES AND HIS PERSONALITY WAS UNMATCHED. TOGETHER, WE MOVED 5 TIMES, NAVIGATED THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS, MARRIAGE, COLLEGE, PREGNANCY, THE BIRTH OF OUR DAUGHTER AND HE LIVED UP UNTIL MY DAUGHTER'S FOURTH DAY OF 2ND GRADE. HE BATTLED CUSHING'S DISEASE FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH KIDNEY DISEASE 6 MONTHS AGO-BUT HE WAS NEVER DEFEATED. HE WAS A FIGHTER AND I'LL FOREVER BE PROUD OF WHAT HE OVERCAME. HE WENT OUT WITH DIGNITY AND ON HIS OWN TERMS AND I'LL BE FOREVER SADDENED THAT HE COULDN'T LIVE FOREVER. i'LL MISS MY LITTLE GUY EVERY SINGLE DAY UNTIL MY OWN HEART STOPS BEATING. I HOPE TO GOD HE KNOWS HOW MUCH HE WAS LOVED. A TRUE ONCE IN A LIFETIME DOG. LOVE YOU FOREVER B.
