There are some souls that come into our lives and change us forever. Gracie was one of those souls. She was more than just a dog—she was family, a best friend, and a constant source of love, loyalty, and comfort. From the moment she bounded into our lives, she filled our home with warmth, laughter, and golden retriever-sized joy.

Gracie had a way of knowing exactly what we needed before we even said a word. She was there through the chaos, the laughter, the late-night worries, and the early-morning cuddles. Whether she was chasing after her favorite toy, curling up at our feet, or greeting us with that signature wag that shook her entire body, she made every moment better just by being there.

She was Wyatt’s playmate, Ellie’s gentle guardian, and my shadow through life’s ups and downs. She never asked for much—just love, a good belly rub, and to be near the people she adored. In return, she gave us everything she had, every single day.

Losing her has left a space in our hearts that can never be filled. But if love alone could have kept her here, she would have stayed forever. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing she lived a life full of love and that she gave us more than we could have ever given her.

Gracie, you were our golden girl in every way. Thank you for loving us so well. Run free, sweet girl—we will carry you with us always.
