Kimbie

2012 - 2025

Kimbie was born on February 16, 2012 and made her way to her forever home on December 22, 2013. She spent 13 great years showing off her affection, love, and spunkiness. She passed on March 15, 2025 surrounded by family. Her time with us is forever cherished.

Kimbie was known for monitoring all cooking activities, making demanding barks and Chewbacca sounds when she wanted food or attention, stealing socks, barking to announce her arrival when entering her Vet's office, sleeping with her tongue out, playing fetch, snoring like a Mastiff, enjoying being pampered with spa days, and being the queen of her castle. She was also intrigued by new environments and smells and liked to explore.

She was an incredibly sweet, charming, and well behaved dog. She loved her humans and was loved back exponentially. Her dedication to her humans will be remembered fondly. She loved attention, snuggles, and getting pets. She notoriously turned into jello on your lap.

Despite her sunny demeanor, she was also a good guard dog and always protected her mom. Sometimes it felt like she was a Rottweiler in a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's body.

Kimbie was a strong pup who persevered through having three owners before the age of 2 and many medical ailments. She fought through so much and still kept her joy in life, which she communicated with every bark, snort, and tail wag.

She was always by your side when you needed her most. Kimbie's eyes could peer deep into your soul and let you know everything was going to be alright. Even in her challenging final days, her presence comforted those around her.
