n Loving Memory of Kona
Forever our loyal companion and best friend

Kona, we miss you so much. The house just isn’t the same without you. You were the most loyal and loving companion anyone could ask for. I miss our walks, our cuddles, and our quiet days together when it was just us. I miss feeling safe at night, knowing you were there, and your sweet kisses when I was overwhelmed or sad.

You were such a fighter and truly lived life to its fullest. We loved taking you to the snow, the river, and on all our adventures. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope you’re chasing squirrels, catching frisbees, and finding that perfect stick in a beautiful place.

Though cancer took you from us too soon, I feel so blessed to have had ten and a half wonderful years with you. The holidays won’t be the same without you—how you loved opening your gifts and showing Grandad your new red collar. The house feels so quiet now; I no longer rush home for our walks or your warm welcome.

Dad, Logan, and Lainey miss you deeply too. Even Poncho is still looking for you, not quite understanding why you’re not here. You were more than a pet—you were family, and truly the best dog we could ever have hoped for.

Maybe God needed you for something greater, but you will always be with me. I love you, Kona, forever and ever. Thank you for all the happiness and the beautiful memories. You will live in my heart always.
