My sweet Marley

Marley was more than just a dog, he was my best friend, my comfort and my heart outside my body. For 17 beautiful years, he filled my life with unconditional love, loyalty and so much joy.
He was the sweetest soul, always happiest when he was close, soaking up cuddles and spending quality time together. Though he was tiny, he had the fiercest little personality. Marley made sure everyone, especially his dog friends knew he was the one in charge. That was just who he was: bold, loving, and completely unforgettable.
There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss him deeply. But I find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. I imagine him now, surrounded by new friends, running free, and enjoying all the wet food and treats his little heart could ever want.
Seventeen years with him will never feel like enough, but I am forever grateful for every single moment, every memory and every ounce of love we shared. He was truly one of a kind, and a part of me will always be with him.
I can’t wait for the day I get to see him again. Until then, I will carry him with me always.
