Midnite

2008 - 2025

This little kitty, sitting in a teacup on the vet's front counter, became our cuddle and snuggle baby for 17 blessed years. He loved sleeping under the covers, next to my left side, tucked under my arm. sometimes i'd wake up and he was sleeping on the top of my head or licking my hair to wake me up. he was most content when he was on my lap, sitting on my open book, or in my arms.
one of the many joyful moments was when we realized he was missing fur on his ears. Our retriever mix puppy was pulling midnite around the house by his head (sometimes tail). they had a path from the living room, through the office, kitchen, dining room and back to the living room (our house was built in 1902). If Midnite tired of that, he would then chase Lucie in the opposite direction. They have been doing this since about 2016 (Lucie was rescued when she was 10 weeks old in 2013; she's now 12). They are the best of friends.
Rest well, our midnite. You have fought valiently these past few years; now it's time to join our fur babies in heaven and be free of pain. thank you for 17 years of unconditional love and life. God Bless you, my baby.
