In Loving Memory of Roxy
2016 – 2025
Roxy wasn’t just my dog — she was my peace after the storm. I got her after I got out of the service, during a time when everything felt uncertain and quiet in a way I wasn’t used to. She grounded me. She gave me purpose again. And without even trying, she became my service animal, my constant, and my reason to get outside and keep going.
We had so many adventures together — long drives with the windows down, road trips that turned into memories, and hikes where she’d lead the way like she knew exactly where we were headed. She was always up for anything, whether it was a move, a long night, or just sitting in silence next to me when words didn’t come easy.
Through every change and challenge, Roxy was there. Her loyalty was unshakable, her love was pure, and her presence made every place feel like home. She saw me through healing, growth, and new chapters of life — and she never once asked for anything more than to be by my side.
Her body may have grown tired, but her spirit never did. She stayed until the very end, still watching over me, still giving comfort. I’ll carry her with me in every sunrise drive, every quiet morning, every memory that reminds me of how far we came together.
Run free, my girl. You gave me peace when I needed it most — and you’ll always be my greatest adventure.
