Sonny

2009 - 2021

Sonny was a rescue dog that entered our home in 2013. Because of his past, he had very little human contact and when we adopted him we had to teach him how to be a dog. He did know how to love, and he was loved very much. Sonny had some endearing qualities. When he was happy and excited, he would jump and spin around with a big grin on his face. If you've ever seen a Pomeranian smile, you know how heartwarming it is. His favorite toy was crackers in cellophane where he would chew on it, toss it in the air, shoot it back between his legs, search for it, and start all over again until he finally opened the package to find his treat. He loved popcorn and peanut butter especially and he would eat just about any human food with the exception of lettuce. He was a funny little dog, loved to make us laugh, and was a cherished member of our family. Sonny wasn't too fond of our cat Sammy, but as much as they appeared to hate each other we would find them sleeping together in our bed. We were lucky to have him in our lives, and his memory will forever be etched in our memories and our hearts.
