our lives became brighter,

You filled the quiet spaces with joy,
and healed every unseen wound
with nothing but your presence.

We crossed oceans together,
chased sunsets and snowflakes,
and built a life where your pawprints
are etched into every corner.
You were with us for every first,
and now, painfully, this last.

Sleep now, my love,
in fields we’ve yet to see.
Wait for us under skies
where the stars are soft
and no one ever says goodbye.

You are forever our Bebu,
forever loved,
forever ours.
